I love your style. It's so fun and each picture makes me want to just sketch and paint more. It seems like your paintings are heavily driven by your sketches - as if your paintings are sketches that you ended up spending a week polishing - and I was wondering if you keep to a schedule like 'I'll fill 2 sketchbook pages every day.'
bulfrog, My ideas can be driven by the sketchbook but the paintings often take divergent turns along the way. I don't keep a specific schedule for my sketchbook. Some days I do one page or even one sketch others four or five pages. A lot depends on the painting schedule. But there is hardly anything better for the skill of an artist than setting a schedule and drawing from life and pouring out ideas in a sketchbook.

Oh, I love these sketches so much! I want to meet all those characters, some, preferably, in a well lit public space. Are there any plans to publish some of your sketchbooks? I'd be first in line!
