New painting with only one process shot. Still not sure if this is completely done. Sometimes I like to look at something awhile online then make some adjustments. We'll see. On copper.

When you paint on copper, do you prep the surface in any special way? I have a ton of leftovers from printmaking, and I think you just inspired me to use it.
It's a pretty laborious build up of layers using gesso and matte medium in different mixes. Tell you what, send me some of those left over plates and we'll do a deal.
Oh really? Shoot me an email at threeredheadstudios@gmail.com, I guess it would depend on where you're located since shipping could get spendy.
wow, that's some impressive detail work you do.
