The painting the world has been waiting for. Well maybe not the world. This is for a show, at the Society of Illustrators Museum of Illustration NY, called Earth: Fragile Planet. It was an honor being invited to exhibit. The show is not for awhile but I finished early in order to move on to other things. It is 12x16 inches acrylic on panel.

i love it--the color of the falling whales is great, and the woman in front is beautiful!
this looks awesome. the composition is cool and the various hats. well done! congrats to be part of the show.
Beautiful work! I love the polar bear, the woman, and their colors and the color of the whales.
This is great...love it. I never thought of raining or falling narwhals!!! Wonderful!!
Amazing. So many worlds come to mind when I look at it. The blood stained horns and the target on the polar bear's head... Hm.
Have you seen Paul Nicklen's book POLAR OBSESSION? Came out a couple of months ago - big coffee table book. Breathtaking photos. Saw my first photo ever of a narwhal in his book - I had only seen artistic representations and before, and a horn in a museum. My favorite animal. I have enjoyed viewing your narwhal odyssey. Thanks!
