Yes I love my sketchbook. There is more secret stuff in here so just ignore this post. But it was too cool not to share. Like a lot of us I don't work from life as much as I should. I make up for it by making my students do it. Somehow that makes me feel better. Ooh, cool ghost image under the first page. Sometimes I tape pages from previous books in to a new book to carry over a theme or for inspiration.

I resent you for making us draw from life more than you do! jerk. :P
drawing from life is uber important. Once you can draw realistically, you have the skills to do whatever you want.
