Now that I think about it, I guess everything I do is something different. This is for a figurative show in Boston at The William Scott Gallery. Some heavy hitters in this show including Rick Berry who invited me.

Been fishing and painting and crying. I swore I would never let this many days go by without a post and I have failed. the art police are on their way. I may never see you all again. Well, I've never actually seen most of you but unless there is a computer and art supplies in art prison you may never hear from me again.

On copper. The show is seemingly just around the corner. I am working hard and having fun. I could paint all day. Wait I do paint all day. School starts in three weeks but I think that will actually be a boost for me.

Comic Con Adventure 2011

Comic Con San Diego was a true adventure. I was surrounded at one time by Star Wars storm troopers, saw people who should not have been dressed as scantily clad super heroes and warriors, saw people who were, thank God, in scantily clad costumes, met cool celebrities and even cooler artists. I'm really glad I went but not sure I'll do it again. But if I do I know what to do. I could write for hours about the experience but I won't bore you. Instead I'll post a few sketchbook pages and try, in the next couple of days, to get photos off of my phone. That failing I will direct you to places with photos.

Comic Con

Latest painting on wood. I will be taking it to Comic Con and adding a few little touches and working on a new painting there. Wish you all could be there.
