A couple of drawings a day in order to fill up the wall 'o affordable drawings for my upcoming show at the basement gallery. I got a whole slew of old pen nibs when Boise Blue closed. These are done with those and character studies for my "To the Garden" story on which I continue to work.
This is one of those rare pieces that seemed to haunt me. It was in my thoughts and sketchbook for quite awhile before I had to finally put it on a surface.
As I promised, a new painting. Of course I can't promise that I'm done with it but it's looking OK. Sometimes I fiddle with things a little after posting. Haven't got a title yet but I'm sure I'll think of something. 8 x 10 inches on copper.
This has been the longest gap between posts. I apologize but I needed to go fishing. Here are some sketchbook pages. I should have a new blockbuster painting up in a day or two. I know you all are going through withdrawal; I did too while I was fishing but I suffered for my sanity.

New painting with only one process shot. Still not sure if this is completely done. Sometimes I like to look at something awhile online then make some adjustments. We'll see. On copper.
For those of you looking for an inexpensive way to have me in your home Gallery Nucleus is providing a giclee print of "Narwhal Rain". It is currently only $30 and is 12x16 inches on watercolor paper. Sadly, or maybe not so much, they are not signed. But for that price don't even try to complain.
Looks like I might be in a book about vampires. I don't do a whole lot of them but the weird thing is I was doing this piece when the invitation came. Karma? Bill Karma. Anyway hope it all works out.
