I feel the male figure in the pictures is Doctor Faust and not Mephistopheles so shouldn't have horns and a tail. I think they work quite well on the title though. As usual wonderful work!Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08667650454572563847noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3173505534324889114.post-74199387268470024822009-05-22T15:31:22.963-07:002009-05-22T15:31:22.963-07:00I like them all :)I like them all :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3173505534324889114.post-72749643014872196732009-05-20T12:23:21.670-07:002009-05-20T12:23:21.670-07:003rd one3rd oneAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3173505534324889114.post-76432810129528483332009-05-18T09:36:00.000-07:002009-05-18T09:36:00.000-07:00I found your blog casually, and I made a great dis...I found your blog casually, and I made a great discovery
great works!.. and i especially love this cover..!toni infantehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14618347567009563922noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3173505534324889114.post-89871777664107728772009-05-16T14:37:00.000-07:002009-05-16T14:37:00.000-07:00Curs BNRCurs BNRAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3173505534324889114.post-86644600396353874022009-05-16T11:39:00.000-07:002009-05-16T11:39:00.000-07:00I'm leaning towards the third one. The white space surrounding the second and the third one really make the figure stand out.
What you did with the tail and the horns on the second version is really strong. So strong the illustration actually isn't needed. The title and the play with the tail and the horn on the 's' say it all.

That's why I would go for the third one.Still, you could explore the tail-thing on the 's' more. I like that. This gives you a perfect oppertunity to 'tie' the title and the illo as one.
How about getting rid of the horns on the 's' and put them back on the figure again and let the tail on the 's' curl around his neck. Not tight, relaxed just resting on his shoulder.

Man I hope to do a poster like this one time. I'm in love with Polish poster designers. They master the art of cultural posterdesign like nobody else I think.Bjorn Nelissenhttp://www.bjornnelissen.nlnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3173505534324889114.post-47063079378736842022009-05-16T11:16:00.000-07:002009-05-16T11:16:00.000-07:00looking better and better Bill!
