what i meant was: it's great that you have a creative outlet for the dark stuff ... er just kidding ... i mean't the bird needed you to paint that orifice so that the alien thingy could escape ... good job!
and, i concur; some loose brush marks along with fine details ... creates a tension and a little uncertainty ... so that not everything is prescribed by the artist and the viewer can make up stuff
