I tried to stop posting but this little guy just crawled out of my sketchbook and begged to be put on his way to the garden. What could I do? I'll try to show some process steps but these go so fast that I just get going and forget.
this whole series is Bosch inspired. he was the man and would still be if he were alive, albeit really old. eggy, you must have learned you cleverness in school from a really smart teacher. these are actually acrylic and graphite on different scraps of paper, some watercolor, some printmaking, some unknown. they start in my sketchbook most of the time (currently Moleskine and variants thereof) but then move out in to the real world, or my real world.
I love him - he's very Bosch-esque
ReplyDeleteneat bill. reminds me of the wheelers on return to oz a bit. but more eggy.
ReplyDeleteYour work is great,
ReplyDeleteYou use watercolor right? What kind of sketchbook do you use? Is it watercolor paper?
Thanks,
Hannah
